Common questions
How do I sign in?
With Google, or with Apple on iPhone. Sherpa has no separate password.
I signed in with Apple and used Hide My Email. What's my account email?
It ends in @privaterelay.appleid.com. Use that address when you contact support or request deletion.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Progress › Settings › Delete account. Without the app, use the delete account page.
Deletion happens 14 days after you ask. Signing in again before then cancels it. Your account, check-ins, tasks and posts are removed.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. See the next question.
How do I cancel or manage my Sherpa Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple or Google, not by Sherpa.
You can also get there in the app: Progress › Settings › Manage subscription.
I paid but Pro isn't unlocked, or I got a new phone.
Open the Sherpa Pro screen in the app and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you paid with.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store.
- Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: Google Play refund help
What is Sherpa Pro?
Day 1 is fully free. The daily check-in, calendar, Progress and settings are free forever.
Pro unlocks Today's Climb tasks from Day 2, weekly plans and the weekly review chat with Sherpa, and Digital Shield setup.
Prices are shown in the app in your local currency. The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. If a subscription ends, a Digital Shield you already set up keeps working.
What is Digital Shield and what does it access?
It blocks the apps and websites you choose, during hours you schedule.
iPhone: it uses Apple's Screen Time permission, which you grant. Screen Time data stays on your device.
Android: it uses an Accessibility service only to notice when a blocked app opens and show the block screen. It does not read screen content, type or tap for you. You'll see a disclosure screen before you're asked to turn it on.
Digital Shield stopped blocking on Android.
Check that Sherpa's Accessibility service is still on, in Settings › Accessibility.
On Samsung, Xiaomi and some other brands, set battery usage for Sherpa to Unrestricted, or allow autostart. Aggressive battery saving can stop it.
How do I turn Digital Shield off?
Change or remove your schedules inside Sherpa.
On Android you can also switch off Sherpa's Accessibility service in system settings. On iPhone you can revoke Screen Time access for Sherpa in the Settings app.
I'm not getting reminders.
Allow notifications for Sherpa in your phone's settings. Then check the reminder times and quiet hours in Progress › Settings › Notifications.
